Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a Research and Development project (Ref. No. CRG/2018/001462) with the following details

Three years or up to the termination of the project, subject to annual performance review. The candidate is entitled to register for the Ph.D. program at NITK- Surathkal.

Rs.35,000 / month + HRA

M.Tech/M.E in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology or Industrial Biotechnology or Environmental Engineering or equivalent disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5÷10 CGPA). Applicant must be selected through GATE or CSIR-UGC NET for their master degree.

Desired Skills:-

 Exposure to the analytical Instruments like HPLC, LC-MS, FPLC, GC & GC-MS and regular laboratory analysis.

 Work experience related to characterization and analysis of bio-molecules.

 Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and experience in experimental research.

The applicant should have at least two years of post M.Tech/M.E Research Experience.

The interview will be held during May/​June 2019. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis co-terminus with the project.
