Profile
Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill the purely temporary position of one Research Associate-II in the DBT project of Dr. Jitender Giri, Scientist, NIPGR.
Duration
The initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability of the project whichever is earlier and the same can be curtailed/extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.
Money
61000/- plus 27% HRA per month as sanctioned in the project.
Qualification
Candidates having doctorate (Ph.D) degree in Life Science or equivalent (including Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Physiology) with a good publication record and fulfills the guidelines and norms of DST Office Memorandum number DST/PCPM/Z‑06/2022 dated 26/06/2023 are eligible to apply.
Experience
Candidates having prior experience in Genome-wide association mapping (GWAS), Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and root phenotyping in plants is needed. The Candidate must have at least two first authors papers in repute journals.
