NIAB invites applications from suitably qualified, dynamic, result oriented and dedicated Indian citizens for filling up the Scientist‑G – Two posts (Unreserved) positions.

Job Description: The selected candidates are supposed to work on genetic and health improvement of Livestock using modern tools of biotechnology and address issues of fertility & productivity. In addition to own research programme, he/​she is expected to provide support to other research projects at NIAB. The selected candidates are also expected to lead the HRD programme of the Institute. In addition, candidate has to attract extra-mural funding to establish and lead research programs.

Age:-58 Years

14 as per 7^th CPC

Ph.D in Veterinary Sciences/​Animal Sciences/​Modern Biology/​Life Sciences equivalent from a recognized university with a strong track record of research, academic accomplishment in terms of publications and patents and attracting generous research funding. 

Evidence of leadership with 10 years of R&D experience in any one of the NIAB Thrust areas.
