Application are invited for the post of Senior Manager – Strategy & Public Policy, Research & Toxicology at Humane Society International.

To lead research and toxicology work for HSI India by advocating for program policy goals and priorities through outreach to lawmakers, regulators, corporate and other stakeholders

Doctor or other related advanced degree, preferred.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in public policy, and demonstrated success in negotiation and public policy development, required. 
• Extensive knowledge of Indian government system and legislative and regulatory processes, required. 
• Experience negotiating with government ministries, industry and other stakeholders toward regulatory reform, preferred. 
• A broad understanding of animal- and non-animal testing issues and major stakeholders, preferred. 
• Experience in people management, required.
