Junior Research Fellow
Profile
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the research project entitled “Development of cross-linking mass spectrometry-based platform to enable identification of protein-conformation specific cell surface antigens of zoonotic pathogens” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.
Duration
Initially for 1 year, extendable on annual basis for subsequent years until project’s tenure, subject to satisfactory progress, and financial provisions
Money
Rs.37,000/- + HRA per month (NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per DBT guidelines.
Qualification
M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology or relevant life sciences discipline) appearing or passed with a minimum of 55% marks.
Experience
Desirable:
- Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC-NET/DBTJRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. National-level exams will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in advanced proteomics, immunology and molecular biology will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in computational tools with AI/ML and programming skills will be preferred.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
