Investigation of the genetic regulation of melatonin/​lignin mediated salinity stress tolerance mechanisms in mangroves


Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow at Central University of Kerala

The age limit is as per the DST SERB norms.


The vacancy is purely temporary. The candidate will be initially appointed for one year. However, the tenure of the candidate can be further extended up to two years or until the completion of the project based on his/​her progress.


As per the DST SERB norms (₹37000 per month + 8 percent HRA)


First class M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any area of Life Sciences/​Botany/​Plant Science/​Ecology


Desirable: Experience in molecular biology, developmental biology or computational genomics, knowledge of R programming. Candidates with NET/GATE/SET may be given preference.
