Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is organising a ​“Workshop on mRNA and Protein Expression: Techniques and Applications” from 25^th — 28^th September 2024 (4 Days) at ​‘International Research Center of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai through physical mode.

This workshop provides hands-on training in two key molecular biology techniques: Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting. Participants will learn to perform RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, primer design, qPCR setup, and data analysis, aiding in the development of diagnostic kits for infectious diseases. Additionally, the workshop covers protein lysate preparation, total protein quantification, SDS-PAGE, protein transfer, and Western blotting techniques, equipping participants to design antibody-based diagnostic kits and validate the target protein.
