Event Details
The horizon of modern biosciences and bioengineering are rapidly expanding due development of various new biophysical manipulation and measurement techniques. These advances has allowed experimentalists to ask and answer questions not even dreamed of earlier. This 5‑day workshop is intended for students and early carrier researchers who seek an introduction to modern biophysical experimental tools and techniques which are used to study of biological systems ranging from molecular to the cellular levels.
This international workshop is partly supported by Biophysical Society (USA). The topics covered in this workshop shall include fluorescence microscopy, Confocal microscopy, Super-resolution microscopy, Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET), Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS), Optical Tweezers, Bio-AFM, NMR and microfluidics The workshop will consist of introductory lectures on above-mentioned topics followed by hands-on sessions/demo-sessions and lab visits.
