Event Details

The International symposium organised by Mahatma Gandhi Medical Advanced Research Institute (MGMARI), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be-University), Puducherry in collaboration with Frontier Institute for Biomolecular Engineering Research (FIBER), Konan University, Japan on 30th November 2023 and 1st December 2023 at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be-University), Puducherry. The symposium will bring together national and international experts to empower healthcare and basic science professional to gain knowledge of emerging technologies in the field of nucleic acids research to make effective decision with the goal of improving patient care.

Nucleic acids research is a rapidly growing area of research which can be applicable in health care systems. Nucleic acids are large bio molecules that play essential roles in all cells and viruses. A major function of nucleic acids involves the storage and expression of genomic information. They can form various structures which can be used to target by the use of small molecules or other environmental factors to fine tune various biological processes like replication, transcription etc. Thus holds an immense potential for therapeutic purposes. Even these nucleic structures can be used as a drug delivery systems or can be used as a drug itself. Keeping the potential of nucleic acid structures in mind they are organising this international symposium to promote the awareness and encourage young researchers to devote there interest in this field.
