Rohini Karandikar
Associate Director
Rohini completed her PhD from Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Bombay. During her doctoral work, she developed interest in science teaching and writing. She then switched to science education, as a post-doctoral fellow at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE, TIFR) in Mumbai. Later, she worked with three different organizations involved in science communication and education. Rohini is also experienced in communicating science in Marathi language.
In her new role as an associate director, Rohini is excited to take on the new challenges in bolstering IndiaBioscience’s efforts in bringing science and society closer.
