Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist I (non-medical) under the supervision of Dr. Anshika Srivastava PI, Assistant Professor Department of Medical Genetics, SGPGIMS.
Srivastava lab is aimed at understanding the genetic basis and molecular mechanisms of developmental disorders. To understand the molecular mechanism, they use the capabilities of cutting-edge technologies as CRISPR/Cas, ATAC sequencing and epigenetic profiling tools. They use cardiomyocytes and human brain organoids as models. The requirement for this project is generation of cardiomyocytes from patient fibroblasts and performing the molecular biology and biochemical assays on the generated models.
Design, validate, document, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data using appropriate statistical methods

Qualification
M.Sc. with at least three years of research experience or Ph.D. in the research area of stem cell biology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology.
Experience
Desirable: Expertise in molecular biology and cell biology. Prior experience in stem cell culture and differentiation of lineages from hPSCs is desirable
