Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist‑I with a potential for PhD registration in the research project at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

Co-PI/s Dr Sudarshan Kini, Scientist-II, NUCSER
Dr Anusha Rohit, Senior Consultant, Madras Medical Mission
Duration
The project is for 3 years. Yearly extension is based on annual review of the performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
Money
Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA
Qualification
Master’s degree in Microbiology/Virology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Any branch of Life Science with at least 60% marks. NET/GATE qualification preferable.
Experience
Desirable: Hands-on experience in bacteriology, experience in handling bacteriophages and nanoparticles.
