Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

The project is for three years. Yearly extension will be based on annual review of the performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA.

Master’s degree in Microbiology / Biomedical Science / Food Safety & Biotechnology / Food Technology / Bioscience/​Biotechnology/​Molecular Biology / Life Science with minimum 60% marks.

Practical experience in molecular biology /​bioinformatics /​genetic engineering is essential. Prior experience in handling clinical samples and experience with advanced DNA-based techniques is desirable.
