Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

Funding Agency: Scheme for Transformational and Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS); Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India

The project is for 3 years. Yearly extension is based on annual review of the performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Rs. 31,000/- per month + 16% HRA

Master’s degree in Biomedical Science/​Biotechnology/​Microbiology/​Molecular Biology/​Biochemistry/​Any branch of Life Science with at least 60% marks

Practical experience in molecular biology, cell culture handling, mutant constructions, cloning, and bacterial expression.
