Applications are invited from suitable candidate for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against the DBTfunded project entitled “Genomicsassisted pathobiology to identify novel targets for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention(s) of Japanese encephalitis and Leptospirosis”. PI: Dr. Ravi Gandham, Co-PIs-Dr.SubeerS. Majumdar, Dr. Syed M. Faisal, Dr. Pankaj Suman.
Money
Rs.35000/-PM+24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
Qualification
Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course having NET/GATE or selected through national level examination conducted by DBT/DST/MHRD/ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISSER.
The candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z‑09/2012 dated 21.10.2014andSR/S9/Z‑08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However,Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility.
Experience
Candidate with experience in Molecular biology and Immunological techniques, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and animal (mice, hamster) handling is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working with JEV and Leptospira will be preferred.
