Project Coordinator
Profile
Nature Conservation Foundation is looking for a Project Coordinator (entry to mid-level) who is passionate about nature, outreach, documenting biodiversity through citizen science and is experienced in co-ordinating large-scale projects. The candidate should join by 1 June 2026.
Money
A fulfilling full-time role, a supportive and dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale, impact-driven initiative engaging college students with nature across India. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience, roughly in the range of Rs. 40,000 – 55,000 per month.
Qualification
Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience. In exceptional cases, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree may be considered.
Experience
- Work experience of minimum 2 – 4 years in nature-focused organisations in project coordination and management.
- Strong interest in biodiversity, citizen science through platforms like eBird and iNaturalist, and student engagement.
- Experience in coordinating projects or working with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong professional work ethic, with the ability to work comfortably in teams and interact with diverse groups.
- Self-driven, with the ability to plan and execute projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic office tools (documents, spreadsheets, presentations) and social media apps like Instagram and Facebook.
