Central Imaging and Flow Cytometry Facility is looking for Senior Project Manager.

The appointment will be a fixed-term position initially for one (1) year and renewable annually subject to the outcome of a performance assessment. The position comes with consolidated pay based on qualification and experience, subject to institutional guidelines.

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualification.

Master’s in any biological sciences any discipline /M.E/M.Tech/Equivalent with aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university/​ institute in relevant subject/​discipline. OR PhD from a recognized university/​institute in relevant subject/​discipline.

Minimum Five (5) years post-doctoral experience in Microscopy or Flow Cytometry.

Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on experience in working with modern microscopy and/​or flow cytometry systems.
• Experience in managing microscopes/​flow cytometers and associated equipment.
• Track record in developing and implementing new methods of imaging and/​or flow cytometry for Life Science applications. 
• Experience in the use of digital technologies and tools for the acquisition, storage and analysis of data from microscopes or/​and flow cytometers.
• Track record and interest in training researchers in the use of microscopy and/​or flow cytometry for biological research.
• Administerial experience in running a research facility including maintenance and repair of the equipment.
