We are looking for ONE science podcast intern for the ​‘Digital Initiatives’ vertical at IndiaBioscience for 3 months. This is a part-time, paid position. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in learning more about podcasting as an intern during July — September 2024. This is a part-time position. The candidate has to work 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday every week.

• Assist in the recording of IndiaBiospeaks podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio output.

• Edit podcast episodes, including sound mixing and incorporation of music and effects.

• Participate in the production process, coordinating with guests and hosts as needed.

• Generate engaging content for the publicity of podcasts, including social media posts and creatives.

• Maintain organisation of digital raw files and project timelines.

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new podcast ideas.

3 months (extendable as required for up to 3 months) STARTING July 10, 2024.

A consolidated stipend (INR 15,000/month) will be paid for the duration of the part-time internship.

Master’s degree in any field of life sciences/​technology.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Keen interest in media production, particularly in podcasting.

• Good organisational capabilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• Basic knowledge of audio editing software is a plus (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Première Pro).
