Applications are invited from the highly-motivation and research-oriented candidates on a plain paper for the post of Project Associate I to work on the time-bound DHR GIA funded research project.

Prime goal of the research project is to identify the mitochondria-related proteins as therapeutic targets in Alzheimer’s disease. To achieve the goal, project aim to establish the neuronal cell culture, induce cytotoxicity, identify the targets and perform intervention through modulators. The study utilizes molecular techniques like biochernical analysis, ELISA, western blot etc. The study has intensive wet-lab work and therefore candidate has to spent long hours to achieve the goal of this project.

The position is temporary and renewable each year, subject to satisfactory performance, for a maximum of three years and position is co-terminus with the duration of the proiect.

31,000/- per month + HRA as per university norms

M.Sc. (in any stream of Life Sciences) with at least 55% marks.

NET qualified candidate having experience in handling mammalian cell I culture, preparation of media, hands-on experience of basic laboratory instrumentation.
