The Hyderabad Eye Research Foundation (HERF) at the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) is a DBT-Centre of Excellence for Translational Research on Eye Diseases. Our research activities are empowered by basic research and clinical research faculties working together in all areas of ocular biology and vision science. We receive our funding support from DBT/DST/SERB/CSIR/ICMR as well as other international agencies such as the Wellcome Trust, Champalimaud Foundation Portugal, NIH USA and other bi-national collaborative programs. We are recognized by the Manipal University for the Ph.D. degree program.

M.Sc. with First Class in Life Sciences/​Zoology/​Biochemistry/​Biotechnology/​Microbiology.

Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a recently awarded Ph.D. Degree and hands-on experience of working with Mammalian Cell Culture, Extracellular Vesicles, routine Cellular, Molecular Biology, and Proteomics techniques like Microscopy, PCR, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blotting, and animal handling (mice and rabbits).
