The Behavioural Ecology Lab at IISER Mohali, solicits applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position on a project focused on avian bioacoustics and behavioural ecology. 

1 year, extendable on satisfactory performance. 3 months’ probation on joining

as per the MHRD norms

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in avian ecology, behaviour and bioacoustics. S/​he should be well-versed with biostatistics and should have demonstrated ability to work independently. Expertise in field ornithology skills, including, bird ringing and mist-netting is essential.

Experience in avian bioacoustics and behaviour and basic programming skills (in MATLAB or R preferably) is desirable.
