Applications are invited for Postdoctoral positions to work under the DBT/​Wellcome Trust India Alliance (India Alliance) funded project. As part of this project, the team will recruit and maintain a clinical cohort, establish a biorepository and investigate genomic alterations by next generation sequencing, functionally characterize the genetic basis of diseases through experiments in cellular and animal model systems (human cells, yeast, fruit fly and zebrafish) and carry out a deep dive analysis of the functional impact of the mutations using integrated transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics approaches.

Multiple positions are available at three locations: Department of Medical Genetics at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences at Hyderabad (DRILS) and Institute of Bioinformatics at Bengaluru (IOB).

PhD in Life Sciences.

Proficiency in basic molecular biology, cell culture, biochemistry, genetics or zebrafish biology preferred. Fresh Ph.Ds may also apply.
