A three-week summer program, offering lectures and mentored research using biomedical data and concludes with a symposium featuring keynote lectures and student presentations. The program is designed to spark long-term interest in participants for taking up careers related to big- data in biomedical sciences. Ashoka University is offering this program in collaboration with Yale University and is inspired by the Big Data Summer Immersion at Yale (BDSY) and University of Michigan’s Big Data Summer Institute (BDSI) program, adapted for Indian students and delivered by faculty from Ashoka and Yale.
