Applications are invited for one Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) position funded by Yenepoya Research Centre (YRC), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, Karnataka.

The selected candidate will be appointed for Three-year PhD position.

The selected candidate will be fully funded by YRC. Salary will be as per standard University pay scale.

Eligibility: Postgraduate degree — MSc. or MTech. (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in Mathematics/​Applied Mathematics, Statistics/​Biostatistics with 12^th standard biology knowledge. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET JRF or lectureship (LS), GATE will be preferred.

Sound knowledge of Mathematics/​Statistics is prerequisite for this position. In addition, candidates with basic knowledge of computational biology, bioinformatics and genetics will be preferred.
