Project description:
This is a computational lab that works on modeling large protein assemblies involved in chromatin remodeling, cell-cell junctions, and cytoskeletal machinery. They are looking for candidates who are interested in computational modeling of structures of protein assemblies. Specifically, they want candidates who will work on one of the following projects
- develop faster methods for sampling integrative models using methods from geometric design
- develop a pipeline for simulating intrinsically disordered regions in assemblies
- analyze cryo-electron tomography data.
- model chromatin-associated protein assemblies.

Money
25,000 (without CSIR/GATE/equivalent qualification), 31000 + 24% HRA (with CSIR/GATE/equivalent qualification)
Qualification
Bachelor or Masters in Phys/Chem/Bio/Maths/Engg
Experience
Experience in computational biology: at least 6 months of programming/research experience.
