Biomethanation of food waste and organic municipal solid waste to generate methane-rich biogas at pilot scale (0.5 TPD) and industrial scale (2 TPD)


Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the position of Junior Research Fellows (Ph.D. Aspirants) to work in the PURSE project sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the mentorship/​supervision of Prof. P. Sankar Ganesh, Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.


4 Years


Own Fellowship.


  • ME/ MTech in Environmental Science & Engineering/​Biotechnology or 
  • MSc in Environmental Science/​Biotechnology/​Life Science


Desirable Qualification: Specialization and/​or work experience in solid waste management/​wastewater treatment/​anaerobic treatment.
