The School of Liberal Studies at Azim Premji University invites applications for a project assistant in developmental biology.The project assistant will be involved in studying pattern formation, growth and development using the model organisms C.elegans (nematode worms) and H. magnipapillata (hydra).
She/​he will work in a multi-disciplinary area, making quantitative measurements using different techniques including microscopy, cell based assays and molecular biology. 

This is a paid position is initially for 6 months, but extendable

Candidates with an MSc in any area of biology, or physics may apply. 

Wet lab experience working with model organisms is preferred but not a prerequisite.
