IndiaBioscience in partnership with Presidency University, Kolkata, presents a hands-on workshop for selected participants and an open session featuring career talks by distinguished science professionals.

Session 1 | Hands-on Training by the IndiaBioscience Team | 9:30

More opportunities than ever are present today in the science ecosystem. The morning session will feature hands-on training by IndiaBioscience designed to provide the requisite knowledge, tools, and techniques for students to navigate and craft their career path. This session will be conducted for 100 selected participants.

Session 2 | Career Talks by Science Professionals | 

2:00 PM — 5:30 PM

The afternoon session will feature career talks by various science professionals across the spectrum, followed by a panel discussion on science careers. This session is open to all those who register.

Please note that 100 participants will be selected for session 1 of the workshop which entails the hands-on training by the IndiaBioscience team. Selection of candidates for session 1 is on the basis of students’ answers to the question on ​‘motivation to attend workshop’ on the registration form. The career talks in session 2 are open to all who register.

Please note that a registration fee of INR 300 will be collected to support event logistics. Once registered online, you can complete the payment by cash at the registration counter on the day of the event. Registration for the event (sessions 1 and 2) will be completed upon filling the form and making the payment.
