India is rich in bio-resources and they constitute the untapped capital. Utilizing and conserving these resources shall be an important step for a sustainable development. The workshop aims to create awareness on
(i) assessing and documenting the wealth of bioresources,
(ii) potential tools and protocols to prospect these resources for human welfare and,
(iii) strategies for conserving them in nature.

We also aim at creating a platform where students and faculty can interact with eminent scientists on these themes.
