The program is designed to impart in-depth knowledge and practical skills in research methodology, scientific writing, data analysis, research integrity, ethics, and effective communication, with a strong emphasis on operational research and real-world applications. The training will follow an integrated learning approach, including invited expert lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and access to advanced biomedical R&D facilities at MGMARI.

This program is intended for clinicians, medical professionals, scientists, and scholars involved in health research. A limited number of 25 participants will be selected from across the country. There is no registration or training fee, and certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the program.

The training program is conducted under the ICMR – DHR HRD Scheme (Support to Institutions), which focuses on capacity building of health research personnel through specialized training in priority areas of health research. The broader operational research training under this scheme includes modules on Research Methodology and Scientific Writing, Non-Animal Alternatives, and Bioinformatics & Structural Biology.
