Navigating a STEM career requires finding adequate funding and fellowship opportunities and converting that into successful awards to support research. IndiaBioscience is partnering with the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) to disseminate information about various funding opportunities at EMBO. The next webinar in the series, titled EMBO Fellowships, will take place on 3 November 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM IST.

The informational webinar will focus on several fellowships for life scientists offered by EMBO. Among those to be covered are the Postdoctoral Fellowships and Scientific Exchange Grants, which also support new international collaborations, allow researchers to pursue new directions, and train core facility staff. The programme organises the EMBO Fellows’ Meeting and encourages interactions in the EMBO Fellows’ Network.

The panel will be led by Karin Dumstrei, Head of the EMBO Fellowship Programme. Ankita Kapoor, an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, will also join the session to share her perspective as an awardee of the EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships.
