To evaluate the correlation between Vitamin D deficiency and naïve Blymphocyte activation and function in Patients with recurrent upper respiratory tract infections.

Profile

Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India and undertaken at Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya Deemed to be University, Mangalore, Karnataka, India- 575018.

Duration

Tenure of the post will be for three years subjected to annual performance review.

Money

As per ICMR norms.

Qualification

Minimum Eligibility: M.Sc/M.Tech in any branch of Biological Sciences from a recognized University/​Institute. Preference will be given to candidates who cleared ICMR-JRF, CSIR/JRF-NET/UGC-NET, GATE or any other qualification recognized by ICMR. 

Experience

1 – 2 years of prior research experience of working in a cell and molecular biology lab with training to work in cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as protein/​RNA extraction, PCR, western blotting, immunostaining and microscopy is desirable. Basic knowledge of using computers for record keeping and data analysis is required.
