Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the post of Junior research fellow available in Dr. Parul Mishra’s laboratory in a project sponsored by Department of Biotechnology.

The project will combine protein engineering approaches with a variety of genetic and biochemical assays to delineate the functional effect of defined perturbations on protein networks. The project will involve extensive analysis of structural and next generation sequencing datasets.

Initial appointment for 1 year, but can extended

Rs. 25,000 per month (HRA, if applicable 30%)

Essential qualification

Candidates should have M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in Biochemistry/​Biotechnology/​Bioinformatics/​Computational Biology.

Desirable qualification

Prior experience and/​or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and/​or Computational Biology and having programming skills to analyse structural and NGS datasets is desirable. 

Candidates having DBT-BET JRF Category II are encouraged to apply.

The position is purely temporary.
