Applications are invited for Research Fellow positions at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Hyderabad for multiple research projects involving the cellular and molecular biology of GPCR signaling in neurons and Ion-channel biology.
They seek self-motivated candidates who have an ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a research lab setting. A strong work ethic, good communication skills and ability to maintain organized records is essential. Candidates are expected to have hands on experience with molecular biology methods such as gene cloning, RNA isolation, PCR, Q‑PCR. Experience with mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy is desired. Selected candidates will be part of a multi-disciplinary research environment, with collaborative opportunities to enhance skills and professional development.

Qualification
- JRF/SRF applicants require a Master’s (M.Sc.) Degree in Biology with one year hands-on research experience working in a research laboratory.
Experience
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency with methods of molecular cloning, PCR, Q‑PCR, mammalian cell culture, protein expression, protein purification and related methods.
- Experience with quantitative fluorescence microscopy
