Applications are invited for Post-Doctoral Fellow positions at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Hyderabad. Briefly, research projects will involve studying the cellular and molecular biology of ion channels and signal transduction pathways in non-excitable cells.
They seek self-motivated candidates who have an ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a multi-disciplinary research setting. Research approaches would involve tools of biochemistry, protein interactions, molecular biology, high-resolution quantitative fluorescence microscopy, amongst others. Candidates are expected to be well versed with several of these methodologies. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, ability to maintain organized records and enthusiasm to work in a past-paced research environment are key.
