Applications are invited for the post of one Research Associate‑1 (RA‑1) position for a project funded by Division of Nutrition, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India and undertaken at Central Research Laboratory, KS Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte Deemed to be University, Mangalore, Karnataka, India- 575018.
Duration
The project is for three years. Yearly extension will be based on annual review of the performance.
Money
As per ICMR norms.
Qualification
Minimum Eligibility: Ph. D in Life Science/Biomedical Sciences or M.D/M.S./M.V. Sc. in Medical/Dental/Veterinary discipline from a recognized University/Institute. MSc in Life Science subjects with Three to four years Research experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Immunology can also apply.
Experience
3 – 4 years of prior research experience of working in a cell and molecular biology lab with training to work in cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as protein/RNA extraction, PCR, western blotting, immunostaining and microscopy is desirable. Basic knowledge of using computers for record keeping and data analysis is required.
