The applications are invited for the position of Project Manager for Bird LTEO (Long-Term Ecological Observatories) Project on biodiversity and climate change. While this is a multi-year project, we will offer an initial one-year contract to the successful applicant. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and work experience according to Government of India scales — eg between Rs 55,000 to 65,000 per month, all inclusive, for candidates with a PhD.

• A Ph.D. degree, with the thesis preferably involving birds, or in other ecological sciences. In addition, exceptional applicants with an M.Sc. degree and four or more years experience in avian ecology may be considered.
