The Project/​Research Assistant will be part of a research project in evolutionary ecology with Shivani Jadeja, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences, SIAS, Krea University. The Project/​Research Assistant will be involved in developing and implementing the project, including but not limited to developing protocols for data collection, collecting data including some through field work, working with research partners and assistants, analysing data and writing.

The position is temporary for a period of 10 months with a probation period of 3 months.

MSc in Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Life Sciences, or an allied field.

Research experience in ecology or an allied field is required. Research as part of a thesis/​dissertation counts. Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable – quantitative analyses, R statistical software, species distribution modeling, geospatial tools, and citizen science tools/​platforms.
