Azim Premji University invite applications in Ecology, Evolution, Wildlife Biology and related fields. They believe that learning and experience of development practice at the ground level must be central to education for development. Thus, the University has faculty members from both backgrounds – those from academic study of development as well as those from domains of development practice. In addition to teaching, our faculty are equally engaged with research, public writing, collaborative action on the ground, and policy development.

APU is looking for applicants who have a strong interest in liberal undergraduate education. You will be expected to contribute to BSc Biology as well as the Biology Education Program (BSc BEd Biology) at the University. 

Ph.D. in Biology or related fields

• Work (postdoctoral or teaching) experience is desirable
• Strong educational interests, experience in laboratory work, teaching laboratory and field based courses, and field work experience in India will be an added advantage
