The selected candidate shall join the team as Communications Associate. In this position, she/he will report directly to the C-CAMP Comms Lead. The Associate shall be responsible for supporting the Team in researching, creating, curating and managing content for all C-CAMP outreach efforts including text-based, graphical, A/V content. She/he will work closely with all Program Leads, as well as the Team in order to capture and present news, data, impact of all C-CAMP's programs in Technology Platforms, Innovation &amp; Entrepreneurship and Translation. She/he must be able to work both on independent as well as collaborative ideas, have good interpersonal skills and an ability to multi-task.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>Applications are invited from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the <strong>‘Project Associate-I’</strong> position for the research in the area of ‘Biomaterials and Stem cell biology’ purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project at SCSCR, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Lavale, Pune.</p><p>The project aims to develop an injectable hydrogel system approach, along with osteoinductive molecules as a bioactive signal and cell free extracellular vesicles (EVs), that will produce engineered bone constructs with mechanical integrity and biological performance comparable to native human bone. Outcome from this work will facilitate the introduction of a novel approach using composite injectable hydrogel containing EVs to create native tissue mimicking biomaterials to bone research.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>The initial position is only for one year, which can be further extended to two more years based on the progress.</p><h4>

    </h4><ul><li>MSc or BTech degrees in life sciences/Chemistry : Rs 25000/+ 24 % HRA.</li><li> Candidates who have qualified NET/GATE/DBT/ICMR qualified students.: Rs.31000 + 24% HRA.</li></ul><h4>

    </h4><p>IndoUSrare is looking for a Project Associate (Program Management) to work with the core team and assist in the management of all projects and programs of IndoUSrare.</p><p>The candidate will be on an annual appointment and will be responsible for:</p><ul><li> Assistance in the overall management of the organization’s programs including financial management, communication, event organization, and record-keeping</li><li>Content development and management of website, program collateral, proposals</li><li>Social media editing or communications</li><li>Work with the board members, employees, and volunteers of IndoUSrare on all activities as needed</li></ul><p>The selected candidate will be part of the IndoUSrare program management team and will provide organizational and management support to current programs and activities. S/He will be a team player with excellent communication skills oral, written, virtual, or in-person. The successful candidate will be service oriented motivated to help patients and families with informational resources and connections.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>TTAS is looking to hire an engagement manager for the weekly, webinar based science outreach platform for young minds 'Talk To A Scientist'. The job will involve managing and increasing social media presence, engaging with potential new participants (young minds and their families), and opening new collaborations with schools/learning centers/teacher networks. The engagement manager will also work in close association with the TTAS Outreach Program Manager towards enhancing the dissemination and reach of TTAS, as well as building family and teacher TTAS networks. Finally, the outreach and engagement mangers will work on special TTAS sessions, quizzes, age specific webinars and activity books with the TTAS co-founders.</p><p>The position would be likely to start end-January 2022.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>This is a maximum of a 1 year position, funded on the 2nd IndiaBioscience Outreach Grant. </p><h4>

    </h4><p>Remuneration will be based on previous work experience and time commitments.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>TTAS is looking to hire a program manager for the weekly, webinar based science outreach platform for young minds 'Talk To A Scientist'. The job will involve weekly running of the platform, including preparing session posters, setting up webinars, technical work during the live webinars, as well as back end work such as website updates, managing the YouTube channel, email management. The outreach program manager will also help with setting up and planning sessions and seasons, in close association with TTAS co-founders. The outreach program manager will also work in close association with the TTAS Engagement Manager towards enhancing the dissemination and reach of TTAS, as well as building family and teacher TTAS networks. Finally, the outreach and engagement mangers will work on special TTAS sessions, quizzes, age specific webinars and activity books with the TTAS co-founders.</p><p>The position would be likely to start end-January 2022. </p><h4>

    </h4><p>This is a maximum of a 1 year position, funded on the 2nd IndiaBioscience Outreach Grant. </p><h4>

    </h4><p> IISc invites application for the position of one Project Associate-I for the Integrated Ph.D Programme to help in conducting laboratory courses of this program in the discipline of Chemistry</p><p>The Project Associate’s work involves setting up of experiments, maintenance of the experimental set-ups and general infrastructure of the laboratory in consultation with the Int. Ph.D Instructor and the Division faculty. The project Associate would also be needed to assist in the conduct of tutorial classes and course material preparation (both print and electronic versions). Further, he/she would help the convener in the general administration of the Programme.<br /></p><h4>

    </h4><p>The Project Associate I position in on a Contractual basis and the candidate will be hired on a renewable (for satisfactory performance) annual contract, with a fixed salary up to a maximum duration of 5 years.</p><h4>

      Qualifications

    </h4><p>The Faculty Director will guide and build the research program at the Sapien Labs Center for Human Brain and Mind at Krea University in collaboration with key research advisors at the centre. He/she will hold a faculty position at Krea University, and will hold this responsibility along with their teaching/research work. The Faculty Director will also be responsible for fostering synergies among faculty members, students, post-docs, and the broader academic community at Krea University, along with promoting the centre’s research within wider academic networks in India and abroad. The Faculty Director will work closely with the Executive Director and the Steering Committee, particularly on issues of strategic planning as these relate to research.<br /><br />Responsibilities:<br />Research Leadership Engage in research on the human brain and mind that aligns with the mission of the center. Bring together a cross-disciplinary faculty at Krea and beyond to collaborate on research within the center. Manage the data center along with the Executive Director (possibly in collaboration with the Center for Data Science and Computation).<br />Collaborate with the Executive Director to build, and provide sufficient support for, a community of innovative researchers to enhance research capacity at Krea and to increase internal and external research opportunities for faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and students in the research domains of the centre;</p><p>Develop mutually beneficial linkages with partners and collaborators for dissemination and outreach. Organize periodic seminars, workshops, and lectures; and provide meaningful content and publications for the centre’s website; Enhance the overall reputation of the research centre and Krea University by ensuring quality research, and communicating that research to relevant stakeholders; Ensure all research activities are in conformity with prevalent laws, ICMR and all other Government guidelines, rules and regulations along with Krea’s IRB protocols; Evangelize the center and its research to develop collaborations across the country and internationally.<br /></p><h4>

Some experience outside academia, therefore, is a plus. Assist in ethics/IRB proposals.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>Application are invited for the post of Project Scientist at Institute for Stem Cell Science &amp; Regenerative Medicine, Bengaluru</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will work closely with and report to the Head of the Stem Cell Core. The position will have a primary responsibility in the development of a Biorepository of stem cell lines to understand disease and facilitate the identification of targets for discovery and clinical applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing feeder cells, derivation and expansion of human iPSC lines and their differentiation to multiple lineages within a monolayer or organoid. Genome editing of hiPSC lines and standardizing the platform for research and high-throughput screening will be required. </p><p>Further, the incumbent is expected to actively contribute to training through workshops to build capacity in the generation and manipulation of iPSCs as well as the use of stem cell resources for investigators in academia and industry. Applicants with work experience in mammalian cell culture and gene editing is required. Experience with the generation, maintenance, and manipulation of hiPSCs is desirable. Effective communication and team work are required.</p><p>Age Limit: Below 45 years.</p><h4>
