Indo-Hungarian Joint Research Call for Proposals 2017

Profile

Proposals (as per funding instruments indicated at Annexure) are invited from scientists and researchers active in India and Hungary for support under the Indo-Hungarian National Innovation Office, Budapest, itself being supported by the Governments of India and Hungary. The nodal subordinated organisations for the implementation of IHSRF are the Department of Science & Technology (DST) of India, as well as the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDIO) of Hungary. National Innovation Office, Budapest, Hungary aims at bringing together researchers from Hungarian and Indian institutions in scientific and technological areas of strategic relevance to both countries.

Funding instruments are given in Annexure‑1, forms to be used in Annexure‑2, Guidelines regarding organisation of the research visits in Annexure‑3. ( to view the annexures, click here)

The applications should nicely be stapled, and must not be bounded. The original copy must be signed by the Indian and Hungarian principal investigators. (Electronic signature would be acceptable.) Fax copies shall also be accepted.
Applicants from India shall send the original and 3 copies of the completed application form, done in English, along with an electronic copy in a single MS Word or pdf. file (no scan copy please), as e‑mail attachment to:

Please use a standard 11 point font for all text (not including figures or tables) and a 2.5 cm (one inch) margin on all sides. 

Completed applications (as per formats at Annexure‑2) must be received or postmarked not later than 17th November 2017 Late and incomplete applications shall not be accepted. The tentative time scheduled for implementing the proposals received under IHSRF is as below:
Last date for acceptance of applications: 17th November 2017.
Deadline for evaluation by each side: within eight weeks of call closing Joint suggestion on the final decision by both sides: within 2 weeks of completion of assessment Start of the joint projects: 1st week of March, 2018
