The annual scholarship provides a talented and deserving student from an underprivileged or underrepresented background with the opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at a recognised Indian university or institution.

Professor Savithri and Professor Murthy's scholarship is supported by the former students, associates, peers, friends, and family of these two outstanding human beings, who have benefited from their educational and intellectual wisdom. The scholarship honors Prof. H. S. Savithri and Prof. M. R. N. Murthy, eminent educators and scientists, whose passion and commitment to education and mentorship have inspired and shaped students' careers from early education through doctoral studies and have contributed to groundbreaking scientific discoveries. They believe that providing early access to resources for deserving students is key to their long-term success; that financial status should not be a barrier to achieving academic goals; that deserving students should be motivated; and that equity in higher education and research is a prerequisite for diversity of opinion and practice in science.

Money

• Financial aid of up to ₹1.5 Lakhs annually is available to undergraduate students to cover tuition, hostel fees, books, research, and other study materials (on an actual basis). The scholarship can be renewed each year, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress (75% and above) and continues to meet the eligibility criteria given below.
• Scholarship will be available for the full term of the course (3 or 4 years).
• Access to mentorship programs, career counseling, internships, and STEM workshops organized by Ignite or its partners.

The Eklavya-Ignite Fellowship is a Travel Grant awarded to promising PhD and Post- doctoral students that will allow them to:

Attend a Keystone Meeting/Symposia or Gordon Conference/Seminar or another high quality/selective conference as a Presenter.

Preference will be given to first time Presenters.

The purpose of the Grant is to give young Indian scientists experiential exposure to leading researchers/research laboratories to gain knowledge, improve communication, learn soft skills relevant to cross-cultural workplaces, build confidence, and network with the global scientific community.

ICSSR invites applications from Indian scholars under its Senior Fellowship Scheme for the Financial Year 2026-2027.

Senior Fellowships are awarded to senior Indian researchers who have made significant contribution in the field of Social Sciences through projects/ publications, including books published by reputed publishers and research papers in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factor. The studies made by the Senior Fellows are expected to have the potential to contribute in the development of the nation by providing evidence-based solution to current and future challenges in different fields.

The candidates shall submit an online application on the ICSSR website from 22.06.2026 onwards. The last date for online submission of application is 21.07.2026.

Applicants are required to read the guidelines carefully before submitting their online application forms. The research proposal should be submitted only in the format attached with the application form. No separate research proposal is to be attached. Applicants are also advised to apply well before the last date in order to avoid last moment rush. The applications can be filled either in English or in Hindi (Arial/Mangal Unicode font will be used in Devanagari script to fill application form in Hindi).

The Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are designed for early-career faculty and researchers in India, offering an opportunity to enhance their research capabilities. Postdoctoral fellows will have access to some of the finest resources in their areas of interest and will help build long-term collaborative relationships with U.S. faculty and institutions. These fellowships are for eight to 24 months.

Qualifications

The applicant must have a Ph.D. or a D.M. degree within the past four years. They must have obtained Ph.D. degree between July 15, 2022 and July 14, 2026. The applicant is required to upload their Ph.D. or D.M. degree certificate/provisional on the online application;

The Research Translation Accelerator programme by the Discovery to Innovation Accelerator (DIA) at C-CAMP, is a unique research translation programme where DIA encourages scientific innovators to transform societally relevant innovations in the Health Care, Agriculture, and Environment sectors into scalable industry solutions. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by harnessing the current scientific developments in academia, by transforming them into sustainable, societally impactful and commercially viable technologies.

• C-CAMP has obtained 15 Industry Problem Statements from the various mid and large-scale companies. (List of Industry Problem Statement is provided below).

• C-CAMP is inviting innovative solutions from Indian academia for the listed industry problem statements in the outlined Translation Challenge and beyond through its Open Call.

• Results of the review for the Call for Proposals for Research Translation, 2026 will be available by the end of November 2026.

These Fellowships are meant to support the brilliant and upcoming new generation of scientists and researchers of India with an aim to provide further impetus to research activity in the country and to stimulate their interest in research careers in the fields of Bio-Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The Sun Pharma Science Foundation Science Scholar Fellowships-2026

There are four Fellowships, two each in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The Value of each scholar fellowship is Rs. 100,000/- (Rupees One Lakh). The Foundation will provide a lump sum grant of Rs.100,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) additionally to the Science Scholars to meet their expenses for attending one international conference to present abstracts/posters, upon submitting the invitation letter and expense statement with documental proof to the office of Sun Pharma Science Foundation.

Qualifications

• Only Indian nationals doing their research in India are eligible for these awards.
• Age should be less than 30 years as on May 15, 2026.
• Should have completed at least 1st year of MD or PhD in Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Applicant who have already completed their MD or PhD are not eligible for the Award.
• Should have completed a Research Project
• The Fellowship is open to all disciplines related to Biomedical and Pharmaceutical sciences.
• Should be willing to present his/her research work in front of knowledgeable assessors.

7. A clear indication of the category of the Fellowship (please mention whether the nomination is for Biomedical Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences category).
8. A letter stating that the project submitted for Sun Pharma Science Foundation Science Scholar Fellowships-2026 has received “Ethical Clearance” from the concerned authorities
9. A statement duly signed by the nominee and the supervisor/co-authors that academically or financially the thesis submitted for Sun Pharma Science Foundation Science Scholar Fellowships-2026 has “no-conflict of interest” with the supervisor or co-authors.

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is a prestigious Fulbright program designed to bring accomplished young and mid-career professionals from developing countries to the United States for ten months of non-degree graduate study and related professional experience. Established in 1978 to honour the legacy of Senator and Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey, the program aims to foster leadership and collaboration in addressing global challenges.

The program is designed to meet the requirements of policymakers, planners, administrators, and managers in the government, public and private sectors, and non-governmental organizations, who have a public service commitment, demonstrated leadership potential, and commitment to their own country's development.

Money

The fellowship provides tuition and fees, a monthly maintenance allowance, Accident and Sickness Program for Exchanges per U.S. Government guidelines, a modest allowance for books and supplies, round-trip international air travel to the host institution, and allowances for professional activities such as field trips, professional visits, and conferences. These fellowships do not provide an allowance for dependents, and the stipend provided under the grant is not sufficient to support family members. The program will involve a number of activities where it will be difficult to include dependents.
