    </h4><p>The Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are designed for early-career faculty and researchers in India, offering an opportunity to enhance their research capabilities. Postdoctoral fellows will have access to some of the finest resources in their areas of interest and will help build long-term collaborative relationships with U.S. faculty and institutions. These fellowships are for eight to 24 months.</p><h4>
      Qualifications
    </h4><p>The applicant must have a Ph.D. or a D.M. degree within the past four years. They must have obtained Ph.D. degree between July 15, 2022 and July 14, 2026. The applicant is required to upload their Ph.D. or D.M. degree certificate/provisional on the online application;</p><h4>

    </h4><p>Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) announces the Summer Research Fellowship aimed at encouraging research in the Natural Sciences and Engineering among undergraduate and master’s students from the seven sister states of Northeast India. It is designed to promote research exposure and scientific engagement among talented undergraduate and postgraduate students by providing them with an opportunity to undertake short-term research projects under the guidance of experienced faculty mentors working in the fields of Natural Sciences and Engineering.</p><p>The programme enables the selected students to undertake an 8-week research internship under the guidance of faculty mentors from institutions across the Northeast, with possible collaborative exposure at JNCASR, Bengaluru. Students of the North Eastern region pursuing B.Sc., B.Tech., M.Sc., MBBS, or similar degree programmes in the country are eligible to apply.</p><p>Selected fellows will receive a fellowship of ₹20,000 upon successful completion of the internship, along with travel support (as per the eligibility) up to ₹5,000 per annum. Additional travel assistance will also be provided for students undertaking collaborative research work at JNCASR, Bengaluru.</p><p>Through this partnership between JNCASR &amp; academic institutes of the North East, India, we aim to strengthen academic and research collaborations and thus create opportunities for young students to interact with active researchers and scientific communities.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, a Fulbright exchange, was established in 1978 to advance U.S. foreign policy goals through the exchange of mid-career professionals representing over 100 eligible countries from all world regions. Humphrey fellows and alumni develop expertise in fields critical to U.S. foreign policy and gain direct experience with American institutions, standards, and perspectives. They use this knowledge to shape national policy, promote stability, and foster long-term cooperation with the United States.</p><p>During their fellowship, Humphrey fellows participate in non-degree study at approximately eight host campuses across the United States and complete at least six weeks of a professional affiliation at a U.S.-based private sector, governmental, non-governmental, or international organization. Through their academic and professional experiences, Fellows gain knowledge about the United States, deepen their professional expertise and experience in fields of strategic importance to the United States, and expand their networks to include U.S. counterparts.</p><p>The program is designed to meet the requirements of policymakers, planners, administrators, and managers in the government, public and private sectors, and non-governmental organizations, who have a public service commitment, demonstrated leadership potential, and commitment to their own country's development.</p><h4>
      Qualifications
    </h4><ul><li>Must have completed an equivalent of a U.S. 4-year bachelor’s or undergraduate degree. Applicants must either possess a four-year bachelor's degree or a completed master's degree; or a full-time postgraduate diploma, if the bachelor's degree is of less than four years' duration;</li><li>Must have at least five years of full-time professional experience prior to August 2026 and be eligible for leave;</li><li>Have management or policy responsibilities, including for those who are university teachers and/or teachers of English as a foreign language.</li><li>Should have demonstrated leadership qualities;</li><li>Should have a record of public service in the community; and</li><li>Must give an undertaking to return to India on completion of the fellowship.</li></ul><h4>

    </h4><p>The Research Translation Accelerator programme by the Discovery to Innovation Accelerator (DIA) at C-CAMP, is a unique research translation programme where DIA encourages scientific innovators to transform societally relevant innovations in the Health Care, Agriculture, and Environment sectors into scalable industry solutions. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by harnessing the current scientific developments in academia, by transforming them into sustainable, societally impactful and commercially viable technologies.</p><ul><li>C-CAMP has obtained 15 Industry Problem Statements from the various mid and large-scale companies.     </h4><p>Department of Science &amp; Technology (DST) has taken several pioneering initiatives for attracting meritorious students to study basic and natural sciences at the college and university level and to pursue research careers in both basic and applied science areas, including engineering, medicine, agriculture, veterinary sciences and pharmacy etc. through various components under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE).</p><p>INSPIRE offers an opportunity for pursuing Doctoral Research at any recognized University or Institute in India through Fellowships at the same level as National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified candidates. The INSPIRE Fellowship component of the INSPIRE Program is focused on attracting students to pursue a regular doctoral degree in basic and applied sciences, including engineering, medicine, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy etc., after either Master’s / Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years or 8 semesters) in Science/ Applied Science/ Engineering/ Medicine.</p><p>Applications are invited for the year 2025, from eligible candidates preferably in the age group of 22-27 years for Fellowship, under the INSPIRE Fellowship component of the INSPIRE scheme of DST through the web portal <a href="https://www.online-inspire.gov.in" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.online-inspire.gov...</a></p><p>Candidates who are Indian citizens and have acquired their eligibility for the INSPIRE Fellowship during the years 2024, 2025 and 2026 (till closing date of the call) are eligible to apply.</p><p>The students who are already enjoying Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) or a higher position in any project or otherwise are not eligible to apply for this. The Associateship is tenable in Premier Research Institutions/Universities including non-profit R&amp;D Institutions within India. Therefore, the expected Ph.D. thesis submission date should be at least three months after the Fulbright-Nehru grant end date. For example, if May 2028 is the grant end date, the applicant cannot submit their thesis before August 2028. Please indicate the Ph.D. registration date and the expected Ph.D. thesis submission date in the Applicant Annexure.</li><li>The applicant should provide clear justification on the need for undertaking research in the U.S. and the U.S. institution identified for the research. They should have done reasonable study pertaining to their research objectives, especially in the identification of resources in India and the U.S.</li><li>Applicant must be registered for Ph.D. at an Indian institution on or before November 1, 2025.     </h4><p>ANRF Catalytic Partnership Program is a highly selective funding scheme intended to catalyse the establishment of new, large-scale research and innovation institutions or centres through deep and sustained public-private partnerships. The program enables the development of new institutional platforms, such as world class research laboratories, venture-builder institutions, and collaborative research centres anchored with universities, national research laboratories, research parks or in partnerships with other Ministries, Departments and State Governments.</p><p>The program is designed to provide limited but high-leverage funding to enable research that would not otherwise materialise at the proposed scale without the involvement of ANRF.</p><p>ANRF's support is intended to anchor, de-risk, and unlock substantial non-governmental investments and facilitate the creation of enduring institutional capabilities of national importance.<br /></p><p><u>Objectives</u><br />The program seeks to:</p><ul><li>Create new and differentiated research and innovation institutions with long-term mandates and global ambition.</li><li>Establish deep research partnerships between academic/research institutions, private capital, regional or other support.</li><li>Enable transformational research and translational outcomes at scale, including deep-tech innovation ecosystems.</li><li>Promote financial self-sustainability.</li><li>Enable structured pathways to take technologies from research stage to industry use.</li><li>Build long-term talent through PhD training, postdoctoral opportunities, and industry-linked research exposure.</li></ul><p>All proposals must be broadly aligned with the objectives and mandate of ANRF as a national apex research funding institution.<br /></p><p><u>ANRF 'Catalytic' Support</u><br />For the purpose of this program, 'catalytic' support refers to ANRF's role in enabling or accelerating the establishment of new institutional partnerships and research entities by:</p><ul><li>Enabling convergence of multiple public, private, and philanthropic partners into a single institutional platform.</li><li>Anchoring governance frameworks that enhance credibility and investor confidence to participate in national research ecosystems.</li><li>Supporting early stage institutional stabilisation and capacity building.</li></ul><p>The burden of evidence shall rest on the applicant institution to demonstrate that ANRF's involvement is essential and catalytic to the proposed partnership.</p><h4>

    </h4><p>The Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships are designed to build long-term capacity to address global challenges and develop innovative solutions in key priority areas in both India and the U.S. We encourage proposals that are futuristic, innovative and technology focused.</p><p>Selected scholars will have the opportunity to conduct research, audit non-degree courses at U.S. academic institutions to enhance their knowledge and gain practical work experience in suitable settings in the U.S.</p><p>These fellowships are designed for Indian scholars who are registered for a Ph.D. at an Indian institution. These fellowships are for six to nine months.</p><h4>

      Qualifications
    </h4><ul><li>This grant is intended for Ph.D. students to conduct research essential to their dissertations/thesis. Therefore, the expected Ph.D. thesis submission date should be at least three months after the Fulbright-Nehru grant end date. For example, if May 2028 is the grant end date, the applicant cannot submit their thesis before August 2028. Please indicate the Ph.D. registration date and the expected Ph.D. thesis submission date in the Applicant Annexure.</li><li>The applicant should provide clear justification on the need for undertaking research in the U.S. and the U.S. institution identified for the research. They should have done reasonable study pertaining to their research objectives, especially in the identification of resources in India and the U.S.</li><li>Applicant must be registered for Ph.D. at an Indian institution on or before November 1, 2025. This call for proposal is open to all applicants eligible for Govt. funding. The research institutions must be recognized by DSIR as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO).</li><li>Private institutions/ NGOs should have proof of registration at ‘NGO DARPAN’ of NITI Aayog (<a href="http://ngodarpan.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://ngodarpan.gov.in/</a>), Certificate of registration under Society Registration Act, Organization’s Memorandum of Association, Organization’s Articles of Association, Valid DSIR-SIRO certificate/ DSIR in-house R&amp;D recognition certificate (as applicable), and Duly audited account statements for the past three successive years.</li><li>There should be at least one co-investigator from each participating institute and either one of the PI or Co-PI should have remaining service in co-terminus to the duration of the project.</li><li>Use of free and open source Software is preferred and encouraged to for training and executing the project and to ensure usability of the data to the research community at large</li><li>Plan of long-term sustainability need to be presented in the proposal.</li><li>It is mandatory to submit all data to IBDC hence a data sharing plan has to be submitted along with the proposal. Proposal without data sharing plan will not be accepted.</li><li>The extant provisions/rules of funding as applicable to extramural projects funded by the Department shall also apply to the proposals/projects received under this call.</li></ul><h4>
