The series aims to stimulate discussions on the need and scope for Research Management in India, and provide a platform to Indian Research Managers and Administrators for networking, knowledge- and skill-sharing.

Researchers worldwide have to navigate several complexities in raising and managing research funding from diverse sources, while additionally managing other requirements for their academic programs. Several research institutions have responded by creating dedicated research management offices, for supporting their researchers with finding funding, developing proposals, negotiating awards and managing funded programs. Such offices need to be nurtured to effectively support the needs of both individual researchers and the institution.
