DESCRIPTION:The workshop aims to introduce a multi-disciplinary audience to an array of theoretical &amp\; computational methods for modeling complex systems in the physical\, biological and social sciences. Through pedagogic lectures\, research talks and group projects\, participants will have a crash course in statistical mechanics\, active matter\, network science\, game theory and nonlinear dynamics. The projects will involve the applications of these theoretical concepts to a wide range of real world problems.
