DESCRIPTION:ARUMDA is pleased to announce the 4th ARUMDA Symposium\, to be held at TIFR Hyderabad on 13th and 14th October 2026.This annual meeting brings together researchers and practitioners from clinical and basic sciences\, public-health experts\, and policymakers to promote interdisciplinary exchange\, collaboration\, and evidence-informed action. It aims to combine discovery science with translation across scales: from molecular mechanisms and individual-level biology to population health and macro-epidemiology.A central focus of the symposium is the importance of deep-dive science in interpreting findings from population-based studies and tracking life-course and intergenerational trajectories of health and disease. Integrating rigorous mechanistic investigation with evidence generated across population settings is essential for understanding disease risk\, biology\, exposures\, and treatment response\, and for developing robust\, equitable\, and context-relevant health interventions.ARUMDA has emerged as a collaborative platform that connects diverse stakeholders working across fundamental biology\, biomedical research\, clinical practice\, and public health. It facilitates the presentation and discussion of research findings and study protocols\, while helping identify and address outstanding scientific\, translational\, and implementation challenges.
