Young Investigator Meeting 2014
Applications for the 6th edition of our hugely popular and successful career meeting – the Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) are now being accepted. The meeting will feature scientific talks and posters and have renowned senior scientists sharing their experiences and leading panel discussions on strategies for scientific success. YIM 2014 has the sub-theme of “Academia-Industry Partnership” and will be held in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh from 8th-13th of February, 2014. YIM brings together Senior Scientists, Young Group Leaders, Postdoctoral Fellows and Grant Agency representatives all under one roof, providing a great networking opportunity while doubling as an academic recruitment fair. The meeting also gives insight on funding options, incubating ideas and collaborating with industries in India.
We invite applications from scientists at different stages of their career – Postdoctoral Fellows (any nationality looking to set up an independent research lab in India), and Young Group Leaders who are currently based in India. Outstanding PhD students who have submitted their thesis and are planning to immediately start an independent lab in India may also apply. We cover accommodation, food and also reimburse a part of the travel expenses for selected candidates.
Selected Participants are requested to fill out the two forms listed below by 25 December 2013. Each of these should only take you a few minutes.
Please fill out your travel details here so we can arrange for the shuttles as well as other logistics.
